Get set up
Getting set up is the handful of things you do once — your church details, your people, your team — that everything else in Passport stands on.
If you are opening Passport for the first time, start with the setup wizard. If you are partway through, your Setup Center knows where you left off.
In this section
| Page | What it covers |
|---|---|
| Onboarding Wizard | The guided first run — church details, people, service times, how you welcome visitors |
| The Setup Center | The running checklist you come back to, in three acts |
| Church Profile | Name, logo, address, contacts — the details that appear on every guest-facing page |
| Importing & Exporting Data | Bringing people in from Breeze, Planning Center or a CSV, and getting your data back out |
| People | Your directory: searching, adding, and what a person's profile holds |
| Users & Roles | Inviting your team and deciding what each person can do |
Where to start
Do these three first, in this order — it is the order that causes the least rework:
- Finish your church profile. Blank fields show up on pages guests actually see.
- Import your people. Building groups by hand before importing means duplicating everything your old system already knows.
- Invite your team. Follow-up tasks have to land on a real person.
Then get ready for a Sunday: publish your Plan Your Visit page and print your connection card.
